LAKE ZURICH MIDDLE SCHOOL SOUTH, DIST. 95
In August 23 of 2013, Lake Zurich middle school south, District 95 began operating its own solar station. The installation was provided by Wind + Solar Energy Design Co and Solar Star Foundation, and it is primarily used as a teaching tool. Students study data outputs, and also showcase what they’ve learned at community-based events. Lake Zurich middle school south, District 95 students participate in outreach events, and help the community understand how solar energy works. Having students learn about solar energy at such a young age is both an example to their peers and members of the community of what clean energy in action is all aboutLake Zurich middle school south, District 95 is incorporating solar studies into a number of classes across various disciplines.
